Lockwood Mold Design was founded in 2007 by Craig Lockwood, a veteran moldmaker and designer with over 30 years of experience. The company started as a plastic injection mold design and consulting business. For the first ten years Craig focused on design work, helping customers through both design and consulting.​

In the late 2010s our customers’ needs began to shift, so we expanded by adding 3D printers to support our designs. As demand for 3D printing grew, we invested in more advanced technology and bought additional printers to keep up.

When the pandemic hit it brought new challenges and opportunities. We decided to purchase our first CNC machines, which gave us the ability to produce precision metal parts and expand our services even further.

Since then we’ve continued to grow. Lockwood Mold Design is now a father-son owned business. Together we’ve expanded our capabilities and streamlined operations. Today we offer CNC machining, 3D printing, engineering consulting, and Cerakote part coating.​

What hasn't changed is our focus on customers. We value the relationships we've built over the years and take great pride in delivering personal service and creative solutions that help our customers succeed.
